Next we headed over to the San Francisco Botanical Gardens. We were a bit disappointed to see that large portions of the garden were closed off by ugly orange gates. Not to mention the lack of botanical-ness (haha). Besides this, and the large collection of man eating geese, it was a nice quick stroll that I’m hoping will be blooming with pretty flowers next spring.
Our final stop on our Golden Gate Park Adventure was the Conservatory of Flowers. Definitely, the best part of the day! You walk up to a big field of flowers and walking paths and go straight into the big white domed palace of flowers and other plants. Each room had a different environment filled with pretty flowers, carnivorous plants, giant lilly pads, and tons of plants we have never seen before. Another great spot for photographers!
I’m so glad we have this awesome park right down the street from our house! We will definitely be heading back for more adventures in Golden Gate Park!
